Family trip to the coast of Rio de Janeiro

Have you felt stuck and unmotivated? Sometimes, more important than work is having a healthy mind. For that, there is nothing better than taking time to relax and enjoy the extraordinary landscape. We can consider ourselves fortunate to live in a country with diverse landscapes and wonderful tours.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit Arraial do Cabo, Búzios, and Rio das Ostras, all in the state of Rio de Janeiro. I have no words to describe this amazing experience. No matter what takes us down, when I saw that clear sand contrasting with the seawater and the blue sky, I knew that all the effort was worth it. After experiences like this, I just want more.

Arraial do Cabo - RJ

Arraial do Cabo is paradise' piece. It's impossible to reach there and not feel ecstasy. 

Among the natural resources that you can easily find are white sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters and many panoramic viewpoints that highlight the unique beauty of the region.

BUZIOS

Búzios offers a unique vibe. Here, you'll discover splendid beaches and numerous viewpoints. Surrounded by abundant nature, the beaches provide a striking contrast to the beautiful ocean hues and the blue sky.

It's easy to fall in love with Búzios.  João Fernandes Beach is a beautiful place to enjoy with the family. The crystal-clear waters will offer you the opportunity to swim among astonishing fish. The kids will be in love with it. 

The statue of Brigitte Bardot in Búzios was erected in honor of the renowned French actress and her contribution to the town's popularity as a tourist destination. Located on Orla Bardot, facing the sea, the statue symbolizes the cultural and historical ties between Bardot and Búzios.

On the same waterfront, there is a statue in honor of former President Juscelino Kubitschek. The statue was inaugurated in 2006 in front of the area known as Solar do Peixe Vivo, the former vacation home of ex-President JK in the 1950s. Today, there is a restaurant in his honor, facing Armação Beach on Orla Bardot.

RIO DAS OSTRAS

There's no better way to renew your energy than by diving into the sea and enjoying a lush landscape. It fills the heart and undoubtedly cleanses the soul. The outlook of the 'Região dos Lagos' simply provides this. They are landscapes that enchant us and restore our spirits.

Rio das Ostras is a marvellous place to enjoy and admire nature by being close to the sea. There are plenty of places to visit. The Whale Plaza, for example, is an enjoyable place to go with family and kids. There is a life-sized whale in the centre of this plaza, where you can take many pictures. Also, you can enjoy a pleasant walk overlooking the sea, either during sunrise or sunset.
