About the course
Cambridge English exams follow a consistent structure across levels (B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency), testing four main skills over about 4–5 hours on the same day:

- Grading: Pass grades are A, B, or C (A highest), scored on the Cambridge English Scale
- Question consistency: Task types stay the same across exams (e.g., Part 1 of Reading is always multiple-choice gap-fill)
The main exams progress from B2 First (upper-intermediate) → C1 Advanced → C2 Proficiency (near-native).
