About the course
After more than ten years of experience in the classroom, I was able to observe the main difficulties and needs of students. Therefore, I developed my material aimed at conversation, so that the student can speak in French all the time from the first lesson. It is possible? Yes definitely.
The initial classes are organized around simple everyday themes, with a hundred model sentences that serve as the basis for the formulation of infinite combinations of other sentences, dialogues, texts, etc. My objective is to strengthen the student's self-confidence and encourage them to express themselves in the language at all times, exposing them to different materials: texts, music, podcasts, poetry, television programs, films, series, and all the infinite possibilities that the internet offers.
As a historian graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista, I try to bring historical, philosophical, social and cultural content, mainly to students at intermediate and advanced levels. The conversations and debates are abundant and enriching. They are an essential part of the class.
Is the grammar present? Yes, and whenever necessary. It helps us organize the course and structure our learning, but it will be a facilitating instrument, not the objective of the course. Because we will speak French all the time, all the time.
