Empowered Women, Equilibrated World

Our Slogan for the women's month is Empowered Women, Equilibrated World.

By Empowered Women, we mean - The process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life. This enables them to represent their interests in a responsible and self-determined way, acting on their behalf.

By an Equilibrated World, we mean - A world in Equilibrium, a naturally arranged state of balance between dynamic influences of the fundamental duality.

Historically, International Women's Day is celebrated globally on March 8th to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

People celebrate International Women's Day through various events like marches, talks, concerts, exhibitions, and debates. Different countries have unique traditions; for example, in China, women are given a half-day off work, while in Italy, it is called Festa della Donna with mimosa blossoms as popular gifts. The colours purple, green, and white symbolize justice, hope, and purity respectively, with purple signifying dignity.

The day also serves as a platform to raise awareness about ongoing struggles for women's rights worldwide. Despite progress, challenges like gender violence, erosion of rights, and lack of gender equality persist.
