Labour Day -May 1, is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers.
During a group class, in a game, we were asked, "Who inspires you?" I replied: "Normal people inspire me." As a teacher, I have had the opportunity to interact with people from different ages, cultural backgrounds, and hierarchical levels. Teachers can perceive things and see beyond the surface to discover what lies deep inside or the genius that lies inside everyone, unfortunately, most people can't see that, and others don't believe in themselves.
Alright, but what does it have to do with Senna?
When I was a child, I remember watching the F1 with my father on the weekends and talking about the guy who had made impossible things real. Ayrton Senna's driving style was characterized by his aggressive and unique approach, particularly his technique of rapidly stamping on and off the throttle as he exited corners. This distinctive throttle-blipping technique, where he would push the accelerator aggressively, was a key aspect of his driving style.
I think the 'genius' Ayrton Senna, the Brazilian racing driver who is widely regarded as one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time had nothing different from any other human, despite knowing what he wanted, believing he could be the best and training for that.
His skill set was very rare. He had that ability to do it in qualifying, to do it in a race, in the wet or dry. Johnny Herbert
He won the Formula One World Drivers' Championship three times in 1988, 1990, and 1991. Senna achieved remarkable success in his career, securing 41 Grand Prix victories, setting 65 pole positions, and earning the respect of fans and pundits for his exceptional talent behind the wheel.
I have no idols. I admire work, dedication and competence. Ayrton Senna
Tragically, Senna passed away on May 1, 1994, during the San Marino Grand Prix after a fatal crash at the Tamburello corner. Beyond his racing achievements, Senna's legacy lives on through the charitable organization Instituto Ayrton Senna, founded by his sister Viviane Senna, which aims to support children and teenagers from low-income backgrounds in Brazil. Ayrton Senna's impact transcends the world of motorsport, making him a revered figure and a national hero in Brazil.
To put it in a nutshell. Not everyone becomes rich or famous. But if we recognize and listen to our inner genius, we will undergo a remarkable transformation.
"There are no differences between our flesh and bones."
