Almost 25 years later... They will be back in Dog's will 2

Dog's will 2 is an upcoming Brazilian film scheduled for release on December 25, 2024, based on the 1955 play by Ariano Suassuna. This is the continuation of the first film, released in 2000. The cast includes, among new names, the trio formed by Matheus Nachtergaele, Selton Mello and Virginia Cavendish reprising their roles as João Grilo, Chicó and Rosinha, respectively.

Plot
The film will show the reunion of João Grilo and Chicó after 25 years. João Grilo returns to Taperoá – PB and realizes that he has become a legend in the region, after Chicó spent years telling the duo's adventures and "stories". With this, Grilo, using all his cunning and cunning, will try to take advantage of his fame.

Back in the city, João Grilo and Chicó will meet new characters, such as the radio host Arlindo, the politician Colonel Ernani, the socialite Clarabela, the braggart Omar, the conman Antônio and the sweet Iracema.
